Empirical Path seeks a part-time, hourly Web Analytics Technical Specialist with strong programming, analytical, and client service skills to support our offices in Atlanta, GA and Albuquerque, NM. Remote candidates will also be considered.

Empirical Path is a web analytics and market research consultancy that has served dozens of media, not-for-profit, ad agency, consumer product, and other clients since 2002. We are experiencing rapid growth as a Certified Partner of Google and Yahoo!.

Responsibilities

The Web Analytics Technical Specialist is responsible for implementing and enhancing web analytics tools to help our clients understand their audiences, enhance their digital user experience, and increase their online conversions. The Specialist will assist multiple engagements at all stages, including:

Understanding client needs
Drafting proposals, timelines, and budgets
Planning and executing implementations of web analytics tools
Auditing web analytics implementations and recommending improvements
Planning and executing enhancements to web analytics tools and processes
Designing web analytics reports
Identifying opportunities to capture additional user behavior data

Required Skills

Minimum 1 year of experience implementing and customizing Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends, or other web analytics software.
Thorough expertise in JavaScript and HTML.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint.
General understanding of website design and online marketing channels including PPC, SEO, affiliate programs, social media, email, partnerships, etc.
A dedicated, quiet work area with phone and high-speed web connectivity.
Availability during eight continuous hours of your choice from 8 a.m. ET to 8 p.m. ET.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
